Raining's Stairs

Completed in 2018, Raining’s Stairs was a winner at the 2019 Scottish design awards in the affordable housing category. The project has delivered affordable housing and commercial premises from a vacant site which had previously suffered from anti-social behavioural issues.
The site had been classed as vacant for decades and the challenging nature of the site had caused issues with previous planning consents. The project team was able to overcome these and worked with the local community and the council to deliver housing which will bring lasting positive benefit to the area and its residents.
